At 1MinVerdicts, we provide reliable, objective information to help you cut through the clutter of online marketing. We don't review products. We rate them, using data science derived from user behavior to determine if a product is worth your time and money. After evaluating a product it receives either a BUY, IFFY or PASS badge, making it super-simple for you to spot the market-endorsed products.
We use a multi-step process to objectively arrive at our badge values, erring on the side of caution. We do not use any ratings found on product-specific sites - ie sites created to sell a single item. We are highly confident in our BUY and PASS badges, but IFFY badge products lack the criteria needed to move into a definitive category.
Primary Evaluation: Market Feedback via User Ratings
The overall star rating of an item is not always a reliable indicator of its value. Our evaluations are based on behavioral research regarding the distribution of the ratings. This takes into account such things as emotional bias, fraud (bogus 5-star or 1-star reviews), and natural "intent" leans. We assign badges based on the following objective thresholds:
PASS (Only Negs): All reviews are 1 or 2 stars, regardless of volume.
IFFY (Too Few): Fewer than 35 reviews. Research shows 20-50 is the minimum for consumer trust; we use the 35-point midpoint.
IFFY (Too Perfect): Over 35 reviews with >95% 5-star ratings, suggesting likely bogus reviews.
PASS (Ratio): Over 35 reviews and the number of 4 & 5 stars is less than twice the number of 1 & 2 stars.
BUY (Healthy J-Curve): Over 35 reviews with a natural distribution and very few 1-stars. Indicates high value.
IFFY (Polarized U-Curve): Over 35 reviews but split between many 5-stars and many 1-stars. Suggests 1 in 5 people may feel scammed or receive a defective unit.
IFFY (Average Bell Curve): Over 35 reviews and most are 3-stars. The product is "just okay" and there is likely a better choice.
Beyond the automated badge, we provide "Flags" that may cause you to elevate an IFFY product to BUY, or demote a BUY product. If a product appears on multiple sites, we badge the one with the most reviews and use flags to convey the status of others.
Positive Flags:
- Pre-Purchase Support Link
- Above Average Money-Back Guarantee
- Better reviews on Trust Pilot / Reddit / Amazon
Negative Flags:
- Missing Pre-Purchase Support
- Poor Money-Back Guarantee
- Poorer reviews on Trust Pilot / Reddit / Amazon
- Unverifiable ratings claim

While many natural ingredients have been used for centuries, everyone’s biology is different. What is beneficial for one may be harmful to another. Before taking any supplement, especially if you have a medical condition, you should consult your physician.
The FDA treats supplements as food rather than drugs, meaning there is no requirement to prove safety or efficacy before sale. Digital treatments are excluded entirely. Lack of FDA approval does not mean a lack of value, but it does mean quality varies. You may need to try several products to find what works for your unique biology.
